New clients
Please give us a call at 712-274-6279 to schedule an appointment to register. We register new clients on Thursdays. If you can’t make it on a Thursday, we can make alternative arrangements.

Eligibility requirements:

Be pregnant or suspect you’re pregnant
Have a child under 1 year old
Have a new relative or nonrelative foster placement
Please bring a document showing proof of address and documents for each of your children showing the child’s name and birthdate

All of our services are free of charge. No appointments required, except for ultrasounds.

Pregnancy Tests

Wondering if you or a loved one could be pregnant? We offer free and accurate tests, along with pregnancy and support resource information you might be looking for regardless of the results of the test.

Someone to talk to

Mary’s Choice volunteers are here to:

Listen to your needs and concerns, and offer ideas and possible solutions
Discuss your options if you are pregnant
Help you announce your pregnancy to family and friends
Connect you with support resources for housing, food, transportation, and more in your area
Help you find a good doctor
Give you information about assistance in paying for doctor visits
Assist with adoption of your baby
Even share their own personal stories and experiences with pregnancy

Free Items

Mary’s Choice can help with material needs for families before and after childbirth, including clothing for all ages, diapers, baby wipes, formula, and small household items. We may also be able to help with larger items such as cribs, strollers, car seats, etc. Please talk to one of our volunteers regarding specific needs or requests and we’ll see how we can help you.

Once a month we provide a small pack of diapers per child, a pack of baby wipes and formula dependent on availability as well as a trip through Mary’s Closet for clothing and household items.

Discount Diaper Program

We buy Cuties diapers, training pants, and baby wipes at wholesale prices so that we can pass the savings on. This program is available to anyone. You do not need to be a client.

Stop in at Mary’s Choice anytime during normal business hours to purchase Cuties diapers at deep discounts.

What can I expect to pay?

Diapers cost $8.00 per pack or $30 per case, regardless of diaper size.
Training pants are available in 3T-4T and 4T-5T for $9 / pack or $34 / case. Baby wipes are sold by the case for $30.
